first_imgThe Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the University ofMaryland School of Medicine seeks a full‐time Assistant Professoron the tenure track. The primary activity of this position will beto conduct academic research in association with other fundedfaculty members, as well as maintain an independent researchprogram supported by externally funded research grants. Thesuccessful candidate will focus on the development and applicationof cognitive paradigms in conjunction with neuroimaging, includingresting and task-based functional MRI. The candidate will also beinvolved in development of experimental cognitive paradigms andexperiments. The department has two dedicated research MRI scannersincluding a 3.0 Tesla Siemens Prisma FIT and a GE 750W 3.0 Teslasystem.The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. (or equivalent degree)in cognitive neuroscience or neuropsychology. The candidate shouldbe well versed in neuropsychological assessment, neurologicpopulations, and fMRI cognitive paradigm design, and dataacquisition and processing.
