Once again, the morning foursomes were shared, England winning a tight game with Max Orrin and Patrick Kelly securing a 1-hole victory over Dominic Pietzsch and Alexander Matlari. But Toby Tree and Ashton Turner were on the wrong end of a 4&2 scoreline against Dominic Foos and Maximilian Mehles. England fought back with two big 6&4 wins, Orrin continuing his good form in overcoming Mehles, while Turner repeated the scoreline against Marcel Ohorn. But the Germans took the other two games, Pietzsch beating Nick Marsh 2&1 while Matthew Fitzpatrick lost by 2-holes to Foos. Over the week, Tree was England’s busiest and most successful player with four points from six games, while Turner gained three from five outings.
