Sports clubs urged to prepare bids for €40million Sports Capital funding

first_imgA hugely beneficial ‘pot of money’ is being made available for local sports clubs this year under an enhanced Sports Capital Programme, according to Minister Joe McHugh.The Donegal TD has called on sports clubs across the county to get to work on pitching for a new €40million funding package.The Government Chief Whip confirmed that the 2018 round of special grants under the Sports Capital Programme has been increased from the 2017 levels.
